Amelie Yonge -one of my mother's best friends and a second mother to me growing up... has found a new love for her camera! I have here a smattering of her favorites. The birds are from her backyard. Below is her daughter, my best friend Amelie, and her fiance Kent.
I forget the name of this little bird but he is just adorable. Like a little penguin. {the tufted titmouse... see here} He comes right up to her hand on the back porch and eats little mealworms! Buckwheat, their golden-lab mix, looks jealous from behind...
